Why CCR

Patient records that fit the way you deliver care

Adapt to your clinical services

Create and update consultation forms, care pathways and case file types through settings, helping your team respond to changing needs without waiting for a software release.

Relevant information, less repetition

Show fields relevant to the patient’s age, sex or pregnancy status, and reuse earlier information to reduce repeated entry.

Support informed clinical review

Highlight values outside age- and sex-specific reference ranges and flag selected responses for attention, with access controlled by role.

Familiar clinical language

Name fields in seven languages and link records to ICD, symptoms, medicines, procedures and allergies for consistent documentation.

Works where the connection doesn’t

Continue consultations offline and sync records when connectivity returns. Training mode and printable outputs support daily practice.

Connected to the pharmacy

Send prescriptions directly to the pharmacy for dispensing with safety checks, while inventory updates by batch.

The patient journey

From arrival to outcome

Keep the patient’s case information available as care moves between departments.

  1. Register the visit

Find or register the patient, record the visit and print a queue token.

  2. Queue & triage

Manage department queues by waiting time and five-level triage priority.

  3. Open the case file

Open the case file and follow the care pathway for that service.

  4. Record the consultation

Complete the relevant forms, with out-of-range values highlighted for review.

  5. Order & prescribe

Request lab tests or imaging and send prescriptions to the pharmacy.

  6. Refer onward or close

Route the patient to another department or close the case with a documented reason.

FAQ

Questions about CCR

What does CCR stand for?

Continuity of Care Records, the optional PIMS extension for connected patient care.

Is CCR required to use PIMS?

No. CCR is an optional, licensed module. Without it, PIMS runs as a supply chain and pharmacy platform.

Can we build our own consultation forms?

Yes. Health information administrators can create consultation forms and care pathways through settings, then update them as clinical requirements change. No software release is required.

How do CCR prescriptions reach the pharmacy?

CCR prescriptions appear in the PIMS dispensing waiting list. Pharmacy teams can review and dispense them with interaction, allergy and duplication checks, while stock quantities update by batch.

Does CCR work offline?

Yes. Clinics can continue recording care offline and sync their records when connectivity becomes available.
